The region around Sikhiu is not famous to be tourist place...But yet you may find a few things to do. First I would mention the differents local markets. Then there are two temples worth visiting. The first one is Wat Khao Jan Ngam, the second one is this giant white temple on the way to Nakorn Ratchasima shortly after you have passed Sikhiu town. There a few nice restaurant next to the river where you can also go for a swim. Near Khao Yai National park there plenty attraction but it is about 1 hour drive towards Bangkok. If you like to play golf there is this brand new golf course you will pass thru when going to Wat Khao Jan Ngam. Then there is Nakorn Ratchasima which has all the big city of thailand have: big mall, theater, etc
